ZUK Z1, a phone with CyanogenMod that has the support of Qihoo and Lenovo

A Chinese company with great ambitions has announced that it will launch a smartphone with CyanogenMod later this year, and no, we are not bringing you news of the past.

After OnePlus and Cyanogen launched the OnePlus One, we have seen a lot of smartphones with CyanogenMod, however there are very few manufacturers working side by side with the Cyanogen team, and now a new one is added.

Today we have known that a newly founded company called ZUK, will launch at the end of the year a high-end phone called ZUK Z1. Initially a new company may create some mistrust among users, however ZUK has the backing of the famous software developer Qihoo 360 and smartphone manufacturer Lenovo. To give you an idea of how serious the project is, Qihoo has invested a total of 409 million dollars in the new company.

The flagship ZUK Z1 will be released in the second half of the year, and for the moment all we know is that it will feature CyanogenMod as standard, a large battery and a fingerprint reader.

Having CM, tells us that ZUK plans to market its phone also outside of China, so this company could be a great alternative to OnePlus, already quixotic with the support of very important companies.

If you like this one, you can purchase the Lenovo ZUK Z1 via Banggood website. Additionally, other cellphone accessories you also can buy here, which is one of the wholesale platform to provide affordable prices, such as samsung gear s2 classic band, phone screwdriver, CUBOT V2, etc.
